Dissolv didn’t start in a boardroom.
It started in our home.
After nearly ten years together, Emma and I finally built the home we’d always dreamed about here on Australia’s Gold Coast. As we unpacked boxes, organised cupboards and started creating a space we’d be proud to call home, we kept asking ourselves one simple question:
Why do our cleaning products take up so much space, create so much waste and still come packaged in bulky plastic bottles full of mostly water?
It didn’t make sense.
Like many Australians, we love getting outdoors. Whether it’s a morning coffee followed by a walk along Currumbin Beach with our Groodle, Luna, or planning our next adventure, we’ve always appreciated how lucky we are to live in such a beautiful part of the world.
Travelling overseas only reinforced that feeling.
Seeing beaches, streets and public spaces overwhelmed with plastic waste made us realise how fortunate Australia is — and how important it is that we all do our part to help keep it that way.
We knew we couldn’t change the world overnight.
But we could change the products sitting in our own laundry cupboard.
So we started rethinking everyday cleaning.
- What if laundry detergent didn’t need a heavy plastic bottle?
- What if dishwasher detergent could arrive in a lightweight envelope instead of bulky packaging?
- What if powerful cleaning products could take up almost no space while creating far less waste?
That idea became Dissolv.
Today, every product we create is designed to help Australian families simplify their homes without compromising on performance. We believe eco-friendly products shouldn’t feel like a compromise — they should clean better, look better and fit effortlessly into modern living.
Emma, our resident clean freak, was determined to create a home free from unnecessary clutter. Luna, who somehow manages to find every beach, creek and muddy puddle she can, inspired us to create our dog shampoo sheets after countless sandy adventures together.
Every product in the range exists because it’s something we’d genuinely use ourselves.
Our goal has never been to build just another cleaning company.
We’re building a better way to run your home.
One that’s simpler.
One that uses less plastic.
One that helps protect the places we love exploring every weekend.
If people remember Dissolv for one thing, we hope it’s this:
“I’m so glad I made the switch. I never realised cleaning products could work this well without all the plastic.”
